How will I know if a workshop is cancelled due to weather?
Listen to your local TV stations, check the ESU #3 web page (www.esu3.org) or call 597-4800 for a recorded message.
Can I be billed for a workshop fee or pay with a credit card?
Individuals cannot be billed for workshops and we are unable to process credit cards.
How are payments made for workshops?
Districts are billed for associated staff.
Can I cancel a registration for a workshop?
Cancellations will be accepted up to three business days before the workshop begins. Cancellations not received three business days in advance and "No-Shows" will be billed.
Can I participate if I am not affiliated with an ESU #3 school?
Registration is opened to the public. However, non-ESU #3 schools will be notified no later than three business days prior to the date of the workshop if there is no space available.

Description | |
- This day will be led by ESU #3 educational consultants and will focus on formative and summative assessment in the three-dimensional science classroom, specific to middle and high school. With the shift in three-dimensional learning, students will need to demonstrate an understanding of science which integrates disciplinary core ideas, crosscutting concepts, and science and engineering practices. The focus of the day will be around task-based assessments in the science classroom, as well as productive struggle in the classroom.
- Participants would benefit from prior knowledge of Nebraska's College and Career Ready Standards for Science, the three dimensions of science, and an understanding of phenomena.
