How will I know if a workshop is cancelled due to weather?
Listen to your local TV stations, check the ESU #3 web page (www.esu3.org) or call 597-4800 for a recorded message.
Can I be billed for a workshop fee or pay with a credit card?
Individuals cannot be billed for workshops and we are unable to process credit cards.
How are payments made for workshops?
Districts are billed for associated staff.
Can I cancel a registration for a workshop?
Cancellations will be accepted up to three business days before the workshop begins. Cancellations not received three business days in advance and "No-Shows" will be billed.
Can I participate if I am not affiliated with an ESU #3 school?
Registration is opened to the public. However, non-ESU #3 schools will be notified no later than three business days prior to the date of the workshop if there is no space available.

All staff working with young children with ASD or characteristics of ASD, ages birth to 5. ECSE Teachers/SLP’s, Head Start and Early Head Start, and other Early Childhood Providers, Parents/Family Member, Administrators, and Service Coordinators
Description:
Participants will:
Be given resources for identifying early “Red Flags” for young children and Autism
Participants will learn Best Practices for early intervention including Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI)
Key curriculum components and strategies for teaching very young children with Autism.
These include:
1. Teaching Approach Behavior
2. Joint attention, assessment and teaching
3. Imitation
4. Communication-manding/requesting
5. Beginning Play Skills –Context Controlled Responses and structured play boxes
