 Instructional coaching is proven to have a profound, lasting impact on teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes…if and when it’s done well. With all the other demands on school leaders, how can administrators best support our instructional coaches (and department chairs, team leads, and other teacher-leaders)? Join former school principal and instructional-leadership expert Pete Hall in an exploration of the conditions that support coaching success: from visioning to clarifying roles and responsibilities, and from protecting time and sharing goals, the partnership between administrators and coaches is THE defining element in the impact our coaches can have. Learn practical strategies, discuss protocols, and build a plan for establishing a unified approach to capacity-building.
