This professional learning opportunity will focus on strengthening systems of support. Multi-Tiered System of Support frameworks recognize that academic, social, emotional and behavioral functioning are intertwined. During this session, participants will understand that social, emotional, and behavioral approaches are often seen as an important component of universal approaches within MTSS, because they are designed to promote positive outcomes in all students. This professional learning opportunity will focus on core support systems for all students, as well as strategies and resources for intensifying support and practices for students who demonstrate the need. Finally, participants will develop an action plan for implementation.

Participants will also understand the importance of communication, collaboration and partnerships and will develop a communication plan to share with stakeholders that emphasizes meeting the needs of all learners through a MTSS Framework.
