ESU #3 will host the USAD Pentathlon 2014-15 Super Quiz Competition for students in grades 6, 7, 8.

The Pentathalon curricular theme for 2014–2015 is “INGENUITY AND INNOVATIONS” which runs parallel to the high school Academic Decathlon® theme.
The Pentathlon competition is comprised of five academic events: Fine Arts (Art and Music), Literature, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. (See the attached guide.) The featured novel this year is “Treasure Island” by Robert Louis Stevenson,
Dover Thrift Editions – ISBN-10 #0486275590 or ISBN-13 #978-0486275598.
The Pentathlon consists of a self-contained curriculum for the subjects listed above, and the materials are available for downloading in PDF documents from the National web site.
The fee for first year school member participants is $100. Use the attached form for discounted first year grant form.
Returning teams registration is $445.

All competitions for the USAD Pentathlon will be held online and are strictly voluntary. Competitors are eligible to win team and individual medals for their efforts.
