How will I know if a workshop is cancelled due to weather?
Listen to your local TV stations, check the ESU #3 web page (www.esu3.org) or call 597-4800 for a recorded message.
Can I be billed for a workshop fee or pay with a credit card?
Individuals cannot be billed for workshops and we are unable to process credit cards.
How are payments made for workshops?
Districts are billed for associated staff.
Can I cancel a registration for a workshop?
Cancellations will be accepted up to three business days before the workshop begins. Cancellations not received three business days in advance and "No-Shows" will be billed.
Can I participate if I am not affiliated with an ESU #3 school?
Registration is opened to the public. However, non-ESU #3 schools will be notified no later than three business days prior to the date of the workshop if there is no space available.

Description | | This session will offer participants strategies to conduct job embedded learning experiences. The content will include the literature on adult learning, how the brain learns and the implications for professional development and classroom practice. The change process, and the technical and human relations skills necessary for coaching success will also be topics of discussion. Specific attention will be given to how to develop and support trusting, collaborative coaching relationships and techniques to increase reflective practice. The ultimate goal of this session will be to provide teachers with skills to support their work with peers in developing the collective capacity of staff in ways that enhance classroom practices and culminate in student learning.
Participants will receive Pam Robins’ new book; Peer Coaching to Enrich Professional Practice, School Culture and Student Learning.
This workshop aligns with the Educator Effectiveness tenet.
