How will I know if a workshop is cancelled due to weather?
Listen to your local TV stations, check the ESU #3 web page (www.esu3.org) or call 597-4800 for a recorded message.
Can I be billed for a workshop fee or pay with a credit card?
Individuals cannot be billed for workshops and we are unable to process credit cards.
How are payments made for workshops?
Districts are billed for associated staff.
Can I cancel a registration for a workshop?
Cancellations will be accepted up to three business days before the workshop begins. Cancellations not received three business days in advance and "No-Shows" will be billed.
Can I participate if I am not affiliated with an ESU #3 school?
Registration is opened to the public. However, non-ESU #3 schools will be notified no later than three business days prior to the date of the workshop if there is no space available.

| Description | | What distinguishes man from other animals? The ability is to think and reason. In this student workshop we will explore many different kinds of thinking. We will actively solve problems using critical thinking, creative thinking, convergent thinking, divergent thinking, and inductive thinking. Possible activities include a debate, an approach to an imaginary city council, creation of a new product, role plays, etc. You will leave this workshop with much to think about!
Lunch is provided.
Teachers are active participants and should be part of the day's events including supervision and participation. Sponsoring teachers will need a printed list of all student names present and turned in at check in.
