How will I know if a workshop is cancelled due to weather?
Listen to your local TV stations, check the ESU #3 web page (www.esu3.org) or call 597-4800 for a recorded message.
Can I be billed for a workshop fee or pay with a credit card?
Individuals cannot be billed for workshops and we are unable to process credit cards.
How are payments made for workshops?
Districts are billed for associated staff.
Can I cancel a registration for a workshop?
Cancellations will be accepted up to three business days before the workshop begins. Cancellations not received three business days in advance and "No-Shows" will be billed.
Can I participate if I am not affiliated with an ESU #3 school?
Registration is opened to the public. However, non-ESU #3 schools will be notified no later than three business days prior to the date of the workshop if there is no space available.

Description | | With so many competing demands on an administrator’s time, energy, and focus, where should we put our emphasis?
The research is clear that teacher quality is the #1 determinant of student success, so let’s prioritize the strategies that help build teacher capacity. Using tools from The Principal Influence: A framework for building leadership capacity in principals – ASCD, 2016) and the newly-released Creating a Culture of Reflective Practice: Building capacity for schoolwide success – ASCD, 2017), award-winning principal and best-selling author Pete Hall will help instructional leaders adopt a high-impact structure for conducting walk-throughs, providing targeted feedback to teachers to focus on appropriate goals, build strong professional relationships, engage in productive coaching approaches, and positively affect school improvement. This interactive and practical session includes tools and opportunities to engage in rich feedback and coaching practices designed to strengthen instructional practice.
Participants will receive the book, Creating a Culture of Reflective Practice: Building Capacity for Schoolwide Success (ASCD, 2017).
