How will I know if a workshop is cancelled due to weather?
Listen to your local TV stations, check the ESU #3 web page (www.esu3.org) or call 597-4800 for a recorded message.
Can I be billed for a workshop fee or pay with a credit card?
Individuals cannot be billed for workshops and we are unable to process credit cards.
How are payments made for workshops?
Districts are billed for associated staff.
Can I cancel a registration for a workshop?
Cancellations will be accepted up to three business days before the workshop begins. Cancellations not received three business days in advance and "No-Shows" will be billed.
Can I participate if I am not affiliated with an ESU #3 school?
Registration is opened to the public. However, non-ESU #3 schools will be notified no later than three business days prior to the date of the workshop if there is no space available.

Description | | We now know that effective teachers are made, not born, and that even small increments in teacher effectiveness can have a positive effect on student achievement. This interactive, engaging workshop will provide tools and strategies to enhance teachers’ pedagogical skills.
· Learn the differences between the traditional and updated models
· Learn a common language of instruction
· Learn important routines, including how to be clear about learning goals connected to proficiency scales
· Experience instructional strategies connected to delivering new content, and practice them to deepen understanding
· Discover the importance of applying knowledge by generating and testing hypotheses
· Learn important teacher behaviors for engagement and for building student-teacher relationships
· Ensure high expectations for all students
