Using the Framework for Teaching


What are the knowledge and skills a Leader needs to implement the Framework for Teaching as a tool that supports the growth of their teachers as well as a tool for evaluation?  This seminar is for anyone who is interested in using the Framework for Teaching.  This can be someone who is new to the Framework for Teaching or someone who has been using the Framework for Teaching and wants a refresher. 


These seminars will provide participants with 

  • The Framework itself (what are the Domains, Components and Elements of the Framework for Teaching.  

  • Which Domains/Components are observable and which ones must be collected through artifacts and conversations

  • How to use the Collaborative Observation Cycle for Growth

  • How to collect evidence

  • How to sort evidence

  • How to analyze evidence

  • How to have conversations using the rubric and critical attributes of the Framework for Teaching
