This workshop is designed to assist school district leadership teams in building a district-wide tier 3 system within their MTSS implementation.  Emphasis will be placed on using the Tiered Fidelity Inventory to outline district-wide processes. The majority of the workshop will focus on developing functional behavioral assessment (FBA) expertise as the core strategy in developing individual student behavioral support plans. It is recommended Districts send core members of the district MTSS leadership team and personnel who currently or will provide direct technical assistance to school teams as they implement tier 3 supports within their MTSS.

Participants will develop specific action steps in their district-wide action plan to:
-Create a district-wide process for identifying and supporting students who can benefit from tier 3 supports;
-Create a district-wide process to conduct FBA and develop behavior support plans using standard tools and processes;
-Develop fluency on the FBA-behavior support plan process among key district personnel
