Description
  • This day will be led by ESU #3 educational consultants and will focus on formative and summative assessment in the three-dimensional science classroom, specific to middle and high school. With the shift in three-dimensional learning, students will need to demonstrate an understanding of science which integrates disciplinary core ideas, crosscutting concepts, and science and engineering practices. The focus of the day will be around task-based assessments in the science classroom, as well as productive struggle in the classroom.
    • Participants would benefit from prior knowledge of Nebraska's College and Career Ready Standards for Science, the three dimensions of science, and an understanding of phenomena.
