How will I know if a workshop is cancelled due to weather?
Listen to your local TV stations, check the ESU #3 web page (www.esu3.org) or call 597-4800 for a recorded message.
Can I be billed for a workshop fee or pay with a credit card?
Individuals cannot be billed for workshops and we are unable to process credit cards.
How are payments made for workshops?
Districts are billed for associated staff.
Can I cancel a registration for a workshop?
Cancellations will be accepted up to three business days before the workshop begins. Cancellations not received three business days in advance and "No-Shows" will be billed.
Can I participate if I am not affiliated with an ESU #3 school?
Registration is opened to the public. However, non-ESU #3 schools will be notified no later than three business days prior to the date of the workshop if there is no space available.
Description | | This full-day workshop will help you discover the best ways to leverage your district’s investment in a Learning Management System such as Moodle, Blackboard, Angel, a classroom website, or others. Learn about best practices for incorporating digital resources, assessments, assignments, and collaboration into your regular instruction using your learning management system as a way to organize it all. In addition to the instruction you will receive in the morning, spend some time applying what you have learned to develop material that you can use in your classroom right away when you get back! Bring some curriculum materials and ideas, your LMS login information for your district, and an adventurous attitude. This workshop will feature Jason Schmidt as he helps you discover the best ways to leverage your district’s investment in a Learning Management Systems.
