Audience:
This workshop is intended for classroom teachers, speech/language pathologists, resource specialists,
parents, community providers, related service providers, and paraeducators who work with students
(Pre-K – 21) with classic to moderate autism and other developmental disabilities. Participants will
receive links to files that include examples of tasks, schedules, and visuals.
Description:
Participants will learn the important components of structured teaching as well as the following:
structuring the environment, individual daily schedules, work systems, work tasks and the use
of visuals for communication, social and sensory needs. This training series allows the
participants to attend in a virtual learning environment and will have the opportunity to apply
some of the new knowledge learned.
