DescriptionSEBL Workshops for Building Level Teams and Administrators

Please join us for an exciting opportunity facilitated by NeMTSS to explore social, emotional and behavioral learning (SEBL) for youth and adults. In this five part series, you will find specially designed professional development for school teams focused on supporting the well-being of educators and the unique needs of learners at each developmental stage. The progression of workshops begins with SEBL exploration and planning, is followed by adult SEBL; student core SEBL, with separate but aligned EC/Elem/Sec sessions; and concludes with student tiered SEBL. Schools/ districts attending the series will receive implementation support between workshops from the SEBL Implementation Support Specialists.

SEBL Workshop #5:  Student Tiered SEBL~ September 27, 2022
This workshop will focus on meeting unmet SEBL needs of students once a strong core is in place and implemented with fidelity. Teams will engage in the problem solving process around SEBL to identify unmet needs and determine how to systematically provide SEBL instruction at increasing intensity for students requiring additional support. Participants can expect to answer the following questions: What unmet SEBL needs do students on our campus have? What interventions best meet these needs? How can we build the systems and the capacity of adults to employ these interventions with fidelity? How will we progress monitor both the practices we install and student outcomes?
