DescriptionSupporting teacher growth is an essential responsibility of the school principal. Whether or not there are instructional coaches in the building, principals can and must engage in instructional leadership endeavors to build their teachers as reflective practitioners.

Using two powerful tools (the Reflective Cycle and the Continuum of Self-Reflection), participants will join award-winning former principal and best-selling author Pete Hall in an investigation of leadership strategies, feedback approaches, and coaching activities that strengthen teacher-admin relationships, enhance instructional quality, and impact student learning outcomes. Prepare yourself to lead with tools you can implement immediately, including a savvy approach to handling performance concerns without upending your efforts.
