In today’s ever-changing educational workplace, it is more important than ever to develop individuals into team players. Schools cannot assume that teachers inherently possess a WE instead of ME attitude. Quality teams reap the rewards of having quality teammates! ESU 3 is excited to offer a full day of learning with Mr. Kevin Kush and ESU consultants developing as quality teammates. Mr Kush has been involved in education and coaching for over thirty years with 21 of those years working with at-risk youth at Boys Town in Omaha, Nebraska. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in marketing and business education, and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska in vocational and adult education. Kevin Kush is the author of “A Piece of the Puzzle” – Eight Traits of a Quality Teammate.
This jam-packed day of learning will include a morning session with Kevin, learning rotations, and an afternoon planning for action and implementation. Each participant will receive their own copy of this book and lunch is included with the registration fee. By the end of our time together today, you will have an understanding of what it means to be a teammate vs. an employee, and leave with an action plan in hand to foster this culture in your building. Intended audience includes administrators, principals, coaches, teacher leaders, and anyone interested in being, inspiring, and leading high-quality teammates!
The Kickoff is an in-person event; NO remote/Zoom option will be offered.
