How will I know if a workshop is cancelled due to weather?
Listen to your local TV stations, check the ESU #3 web page (www.esu3.org) or call 597-4800 for a recorded message.
Can I be billed for a workshop fee or pay with a credit card?
Individuals cannot be billed for workshops and we are unable to process credit cards.
How are payments made for workshops?
Districts are billed for associated staff.
Can I cancel a registration for a workshop?
Cancellations will be accepted up to three business days before the workshop begins. Cancellations not received three business days in advance and "No-Shows" will be billed.
Can I participate if I am not affiliated with an ESU #3 school?
Registration is opened to the public. However, non-ESU #3 schools will be notified no later than three business days prior to the date of the workshop if there is no space available.

Description | | Part II: Cognitive Coaching (Days 5-8)
Cognitive Coaching Seminars® are an eight-day training. You must have completed Days 1-4 before you can take days 5-8. During days 1–4 you learned the Planning Conversation Map and the Reflecting Conversation Map as well as the tools of Cognitive CoachingSM. Days 5–8 will provide for skill refinement and understanding of the Problem-Resolving Map as well as strengthening your identity as a mediator of thinking and your use of the skills of pausing, paraphrasing, and posing questions.

- Flexibility in coaching for human uniqueness
- Detection and mediation of cognitive shift
- Refined mediation skills and coaching capabilities
- Extended coaching skills to mediate self-directed learning in others when they are struggling with a problem
