Description | | Tier 1 PBIS/SEBL Practices Series
Tier 1 School-Wide, Part 1 & 2
Two part series on Tier 1 universal management strategies. Tier 1 implementation begins with a school-wide focus. The training will offer information, guided practice, and coaching on school-wide essential elements. It is recommended that interested schools attend with a team of staff that can learn and apply best practice strategies to develop a multi-tiered framework for social, emotional and behavioral learning.
Tier 1 Effective Classroom Practices
Classroom training builds on established school-wide essential elements. The focus is to provide instruction, guided practice, and coaching on research-based social, emotional, and behavioral practices for classroom instruction. These practices are designed to maximize student academic engagement and time on task. School team members will have time and support for planning the next steps for implementation.
Tier 1 Putting it All Together
Social Emotional Behavioral Learning (SEBL) is an essential component of a multi-tiered system of support. Attendees will examine the importance of SEBL and implementation alignment with other student supports within a multi-tiered system (e.g., PBIS/Pyramid Model/Comprehensive School Mental Health). Teams will be given time to reflect on the next steps toward SEBL implementation. |
