Please note that if you register and do not attend, or your cancellation is not received three business days in advance, you are still liable for full payment. Questions?

Description

Important Details for the Day

  • Supplies: Some scratch paper and pencils will be available, but schools should bring their own.

  • Lunch: Please bring your own lunch and water bottle. *ESU 3 has bottle filling stations available, but no refrigerators will be provided for student use. 

  • Supervision: Adult supervision is required. Please plan to participate and assist the presenters.

  • Team Names: Team names will be assigned by ESU 3. 

  • Schedule & Bracket: LINK to the HAL Quiz Bowl site. This site contains the schedule and bracket. Feel free to print them off ahead of time and bring them with you.


We are excited to have our Quiz Bowl on Halloween! To ensure that everyone enjoys this fun event, we have established some costume guidelines.


Costume Guidelines

  • Costumes Allowed: Students are encouraged to wear costumes and embrace the festive spirit of Halloween! 

  • No Masks: Please note that masks are not permitted. 

  • School Rules: All costumes must adhere to school policies. This includes:

    • No Weapons: This includes any fake weapons or props.

    • Appropriate Attire: Costumes should not be offensive or inappropriate. 

    • Non-Disruptive Items: Avoid any accessories that could disrupt the day’s activities. 


We appreciate your cooperation in making this event enjoyable and safe for everyone.

8:30 AM - 8:50 AM: Check In & Welcome 

9:00 AM: Round 1 Starts (this time is fixed)

11:00 AM - 11:20 AM: Lunch

1:40 PM - 1:50 PM: Awards

2:00 PM: Load Buses
