Join us for an engaging half-day science teacher workshop designed to enhance your instructional practices and deepen your understanding of the 2024 NE Science Standards. This interactive session will provide valuable opportunities to observe effective science instruction, explore Crosscutting Concepts (CCCs) and Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs) through the lens of student experiences, personalize your professional learning journey, and plan for implementation. Bring any curriculum resources, materials, unit lessons, etc. for implementation planning.

Outcomes:
-Observe modeled science instructions and identify CCCs and SEPs from students’ experiences/lense
-Select session(s) from various options to meet own needs for further PL in science instruction
-Collaborate with team or individually process, plan, and refine implementation
-Introduction to NDE Science Education Specialist, Sarah Schaffer
