Principal Support Initiative:
Empowering Principals, Driving Student Success

Goals of the Initiative Being Studied:
Goal 1: Strengthen leadership and self-efficacy of principals to effectively support high quality, culturally relevant classroom instruction.
Goal 2: Improved and equitable academic, behavioral, and/or social outcomes based upon the school’s needs and context for high need students.
Goal 3: Increase collective efficacy of effective principals and teachers serving under-resourced schools.



Year 1 will focus on:
- Fostering effective communication and collaboration
- Cultivating a culture of continuous improvement
- Leveraging data for goal setting and decision making
- Understanding and navigating complex systems
