Join us and other Metro ASD Network Regional Team Members for a full day of learning focused on Autism and literacy at ESU #3. Our group will work through this self-paced course together, with built-in opportunities for discussion and collaboration. We will explore how the strategies and information presented can be implemented when working with students with Autism.

Course Learning Objectives:
  At the end of the course, you will be able to:
-Describe the literacy needs of individuals with autism
-Describe the connection between literacy, social skill, and executive function interventions
-Describe at least three approaches for engaging individuals with autism in increasing complex text and academic content
-Using video examples we will discuss specific strategies for implementing literacy instruction with at least one learner
