Description

Workshop Information- Puppetry, Sewing, Pattern Layout, Design, Canva
In this session, students will learn about the different types of puppetry, and they will design and hand sew a professional puppet called a Snoof. They will begin by learning how to whip stitch a felt heart. Then they will learn the basics of fabric nap, pattern layout, and pinning. Students will be able to choose their own fuzzy fur, and they will use felt, ping pong balls, pipe cleaners, and foam to add customized details to their puppet. When the puppet is complete, they will learn how to use Canva to create a beautiful design project with images of their puppet.
