How will I know if a workshop is cancelled due to weather?
Listen to your local TV stations, check the ESU #3 web page (www.esu3.org) or call 597-4800 for a recorded message.
Can I be billed for a workshop fee or pay with a credit card?
Individuals cannot be billed for workshops and we are unable to process credit cards.
How are payments made for workshops?
Districts are billed for associated staff.
Can I cancel a registration for a workshop?
Cancellations will be accepted up to three business days before the workshop begins. Cancellations not received three business days in advance and "No-Shows" will be billed.
Can I participate if I am not affiliated with an ESU #3 school?
Registration is opened to the public. However, non-ESU #3 schools will be notified no later than three business days prior to the date of the workshop if there is no space available.
Description | | POINTS strives for equity in standardized test preparation by providing the materials, training, and support for in-house test preparation by partner high schools.
During this workshop teachers will be introduced to the ACT and learn everything from structure and content to the basic strategies that help students succeed. Teachers will engage in activities and discussion that help them view the ACT through the eyes of a high school student. They will participate in subject-specific breakout groups and insights into ACT-style questions. |
