Establishing & Teaching Program-Wide Expectations -
June 1, 2023 from 9:00-3:00 at ESU 3, $25 registration fee

Participants will:

Define expectations and rules.
Establish program-wide expectations and rules.
Develop a program-wide plan for rules and expectations including:  
             Gathering child, family and staff input around program-wide expectations.
             Supporting classroom teachers to establish classroom rules.
             Acknowledging children/staff and celebrating their successes around implementation.
             Informing families of the expectations and helping them make connections between school and home.

Creating a Process for Responding to Challenging Behaviors -
June 5, 2023 from 9:00-3:00 at ESU 3, $25 registration fee

Participants will:
Create or review child guidance and discipline policy to align with Pyramid Model practices.
Promote the use of developmentally appropriate and positive approaches.
Develop a plan for responding to crisis situations.
Promote collaboration and problem-solving.
Establish a team process for behavior support that includes partnerships with families.

Promoting Family Engagement-
June 15, 2023 from 9:00-3:00 at ESU 3, $25 registration fee

Participants will:

Explore different types of family-professional relationships.
Identify strategies to improve family-professional relationships.
Develop strategies to share information with families about program-wide implementation.
Develop strategies for gaining family input and feedback.
Develop a plan to ensure families are engaged as partners in the development and implementation of any individualized supports required for their child.

Monitoring Implementation & Outcomes
June 21, 2023 from 9:00-3:00 at ESU 3, $25 registration fee

Participants will:
Identify current data tools and how they are being used.
Identify data tools specific to Pyramid Model implementation.
Analyze the effectiveness of each data tool in relation to the implementation of the Pyramid Model.
Create a detailed plan for collecting data at a program, classroom and individual child level.
Learn to analyze data using the “Look, Think, Act” tool.
Develop a plan for sharing data with stakeholders and families.


Behavior Incident Reporting System -
June 22, 2023 from 9:00-12:00 at ESU 3, No registration fee

Participants will: 
Describe the Behavior Incident Reporting System.
Demonstrate an understanding of each section of the BIR form.
Set-up the BIR System for use.
