Matt Mason helps teachers TEACH poetry by becoming more comfortable with the subject matter. By the end of the day teachers will leave:

-feeling more comfortable teaching poetry.
-feeling more comfortable about understanding poetry.
-with tips on how to teach poetry in ways to better reach their students and get them interested in poetry.
-with lessons they can use to teach poetry writing to students.

This workshop is for elementary, middle school, and secondary teachers that work with students that are interested in the subject of poetry, including both reading and writing.
