DescriptionThe Digital Dilemma:  How Screen Time Affects Early Child Development

We invite you to join Cari Ebert, MS, CCC-SLP from Summit Speech Therapy, LLC for this live webinar!

In our media-manic world, young children are spending endless amounts of sedentary time in front of hand-held screen devices and less time actively engaging with toys and other people. This course examines what type of input is appropriate and necessary for young children with developing brains and bodies. Participants will gain powerful evidence-based information regarding screen use in early childhood as well as how to coach parents on establishing healthy screen time habits at home.

Learning Outcomes:
1.Describe how young children with developing brains and bodies learn best.
2.Explain the developmental limitations of screen-based learning.
3.Summarize recommendations for establishing healthy screen time habits.
