Neurographic Design
Neurographic Design is a method used in art therapy. It helps the artist be more mindful and opens up neurons in the brain that allow creativity to flow. We will use the art elements involved in this process to create a beautiful abstract design on an illustration board with sharpies and brush markers. Through this workshop, students will learn the process of creating a project beginning with the inspiration through idea development, project creation, completion and critique.
Instructor Bio
Julie Fjell is an artist, designer and art instructor. She has taught all ages from preschool to senior citizens, as well as developed art camps and art clubs. Along with teaching workshops and memory care patients, Julie has a business selling her artwork. She received her degree in Art Education from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
