DescriptionDesigned specifically for ELA educators in Grades 4-12, this course focuses on applying the science of reading in an intermediate or secondary classroom. The professional learning is provided through a blended model of self-paced asynchronous work, pre-session work, and in-person sessions that can be taken as a graduate course.

Module 1: Self-Efficacy and The Reading Brain
Module 2: Background Knowledge and Word Recognition
Module 3: Vocabulary
Module 4: Fluency and Writing
Module 5: Putting it All Together
