There are certain keys that unlock the treasure of becoming a life-long proficient reader capable of comprehending all types of texts.  This workshop will give a repertoire of ideas, activities, and strategies to help students with organizing, studying, and working with content area curriculum. 

A focus on close reading and using evidence/textual support to back up answers and opinions will be part of the learning.  Pat will share with participants very specific strategies, activities and follow-up assignments for literacy development in the content areas.
