2-Day Traditional Structured Teach 

Presented by: Teri McGill, NE ASD Network Regional
Coordinator & Jen Quaranta, NE SE Regional Coordinator
Location:   ESU #3
Time:       8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Who should attend:

  • Special Education & Paraeducators (K-12/Transition), General Education Teachers & Early Childhood Teachers who work with students with classic to moderate autism and other developmental disabilities. This training WILL NOT focus on High Functioning Autism for Grades 4-12 Transition.
  • Family Members
  • Community Providers
  • Related Service Providers

Participants will learn the important components of structured teaching including the following:

· Structuring the Environment

· Individual Daily Schedules

· Work Systems/Work Tasks

Using visuals in the areas of:

·         Communication

·         Sensory

·         Social

*****Each Participant will receive links to Structured Teaching files that will include photos of structured tasks, job boxes and visual examples.
