Description | | This workshop, based on the book A Framework for Understanding Poverty by Ruby Payne, is designed to give registrants an in-depth look at poverty and how it relates to their students. Ten actions that can be implemented in classrooms the next day will be covered. Other needs/issues/problems addressed in this workshop include:
· Achievement gap
· Accountability
· Poverty
· Discipline
· Understanding differences
· Economic class behaviors and mindsets
A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
