Description | | This professional development session will provide a general overview of the necessity for grading reform with emphasis on how changing mindsets must accompany changing practices. Tom will provide the big picture of components of a standards-based grading mindset, debunk myths about standards-based grading, comment on how student responsibility can be shaped in ways other than by punitive grading, and help the audience contemplate possible tangible first or next steps in grading reform. |
