Description

This professional development is targeted to teachers in grades 6-12 teaching English and Social Studies. 

During the day you will have the opportunity to participate in activities that are rich, interactive and engaging and can be taken back and used immediately with your students. You will participate in a timeline activity and the use of diaries to teach about the Holocaust. You will be provided with information about motives and pressures to help understand how this was possible as well as develop a well-thought-out rationale allowing you to make difficult curricular decisions.

 Participants will receive a number of free resources to use with students.
