| Description | | This session will be led by ESU #3 consultants. Participants will receive an introduction to Nebraska’s College and Career Ready Standards for Science and will dig deeper into the three dimensions of science. Participants will unpack the standards, as well as unpack each of the three dimensions:
1. Disciplinary core ideas
2. Science and engineering practices
3. Crosscutting concepts
This session will be slightly different than the Day 1 training in 2018-2019 and is geared for K-12 educators who have not experienced or who have had limited experience with the new science standards. |
