Description

Discover the power of self and others in this challenge course adventure.  Overcome the obstacles as a group.  These challenges promote and provide leadership development and will help prepare and empower students to serve their family, schools, and community in formal and informal leadership roles.  Skills learned will include improving communication, encouraging good listening, and planting the seeds of leadership and peer support.

 

Students should dress for the weather.

 

SCHEDULE:

This is a 3 hour program.  It will be divided into two 1 ½ hour sessions with a lunch time in the middle.

9:15-9:30 – Check-In

9:30-11:00 – Team Building Time

11:00-11:30 – Lunch*

11:30-1:00 – Team Building Time

1:00 - Departure

 

*LUNCH:

This is a brown bag event and participants should bring a lunch. Participants are encouraged to bring an extra water bottle in addition to their lunch drink.

Registration Note: By registering for this workshop, your district will be put on the waitlist.  The workshop will stay open for registration until one month before the workshop is scheduled to take place.  Once closed, the available spots will be divided amongst the districts that are on the wait list.
