Description | | Leonardo da Vinci is quite possibly the greatest genius that ever lived. His paintings "The Last Supper" and "Mona Lisa" are among the most famous masterpieces of all time. In addition to being an artist he was a scientific illustrator, an inventor, a sculptor, an architect, a musician, and an engineer.
This seminar will teach you how to tap into creativity by using whole brain techniques inspired by Leonardo. For example, Leonardo designed a spiral staircase by studying the twists of seashells he found on the shore. Students will design gadgets or inventions inspired by ordinary objects. They will draw, write, and act, all in an atmosphere of fun that is non-threatening. This is a lively, hands-on, fun filled day.
Students will be introduced to the principles of thinking like Leonardo. They will tap curiosity, using the senses, making decisions, using whole brain thinking skills, using organizational skills, and exploring the power of the other hand.
