Description

Leonardo da Vinci is quite possibly the greatest genius that ever lived.  His paintings “The Last Supper” and “Mona Lisa” are among the most famous masterpieces of all time.  In addition to being an artist he was a scientific illustrator, an inventor, a sculptor, an architect, a musician, and an engineer.  His curiosity was insatiable and his quest for knowledge and love of learning is legendary.  His ideas were well ahead of his time and many of his sketches proved to be predictors of modern inventions and scientific methods.

The students will be introduced to the principles of thinking like Leonardo tapping curiosity, using the senses, making decisions, using whole brain thinking skills, understanding organizational skills, and exploring the power of the other hand.  This is a lively, hands on, fun filled day for studetns in elementary school.
