How will I know if a workshop is cancelled due to weather?
Listen to your local TV stations, check the ESU #3 web page (www.esu3.org) or call 597-4800 for a recorded message.
Can I be billed for a workshop fee or pay with a credit card?
Individuals cannot be billed for workshops and we are unable to process credit cards.
How are payments made for workshops?
Districts are billed for associated staff.
Can I cancel a registration for a workshop?
Cancellations will be accepted up to three business days before the workshop begins. Cancellations not received three business days in advance and "No-Shows" will be billed.
Can I participate if I am not affiliated with an ESU #3 school?
Registration is opened to the public. However, non-ESU #3 schools will be notified no later than three business days prior to the date of the workshop if there is no space available.

Foundation Cognitive Coaching Seminars® are eight-day trainings and are delivered in two 4 day series. ESU #3 facilitated Part 1 in July, 2021. The final four dates for Part 2 are November 15, 2021, December 3, 2021, January 26, 2022, and February 15, 2022.
The agendas for these days include the Planning Conversation Map, the Reflecting Conversation Map, and the Tools of Cognitive CoachingSM.
In this 4-Day Seminar, participants will learn how to:
- develop trust and rapport
- develop an identity as a mediator of thinking
- utilize conversation structures for planning and reflecting to develop Educator’s autonomy and sense of community
- develop higher levels of efficacy, consciousness, craftsmanship, flexibility and interdependence
- apply four support functions: coaching, evaluating, consulting, collaborating and utilize the coaching tools of pausing, paraphrasing, and posing questions
- distinguish among the five forms of feedback
- use data to mediate thinking
