How will I know if a workshop is cancelled due to weather?
Listen to your local TV stations, check the ESU #3 web page (www.esu3.org) or call 597-4800 for a recorded message.
Can I be billed for a workshop fee or pay with a credit card?
Individuals cannot be billed for workshops and we are unable to process credit cards.
How are payments made for workshops?
Districts are billed for associated staff.
Can I cancel a registration for a workshop?
Cancellations will be accepted up to three business days before the workshop begins. Cancellations not received three business days in advance and "No-Shows" will be billed.
Can I participate if I am not affiliated with an ESU #3 school?
Registration is opened to the public. However, non-ESU #3 schools will be notified no later than three business days prior to the date of the workshop if there is no space available.

Description | | Designing Blended Learning is an e-learning course for teachers that explains and demonstrates blended learning with interactive activities and locally relevant classroom examples. The course helps teachers transition to blended learning experiences and provides the background rationale, planning strategies, and suggested technology tools. It offers suggestions for assessing student learning in a blended course and managing the day-to-day blended environment.
Participants will:
· Learn about classroom management strategies that support active learning in a blended classroom environment
· Explore how technology fosters student communication and learning in a digital environment
· Explore the role that assessment plays in a blended learning environment
· Plan effective blended learning experiences with an existing lesson plan/unit
This course will run online from January 11 – February 19 with required weekly check-ins and activities. By the end of the course participants will have built a blended learning unit plan that they use and test in their classrooms.
