Objectives:
Participants will be able to...
-Identify the four basic phases of behavioral intervention
-Determine the WHY of the behavior using Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and the tools shared at this workshop.
-Understand the importance of an individualized function based Behavior Intervention Plan
(BIP) including:
-How to prioritize behaviors, define target behaviors and set mastery criteria
-Selecting effective behavior change procedures: replacement behaviors, identifying strategies/interventions specific to each function of behavior
-Strategies to train staff to implement with fidelity
-Use meaningful data and progress monitoring tools to evaluate and revise the plan as needed |
