Audience:  
All staff working with young children with ASD or characteristics of ASD, ECSE Teachers/SLPs,  Head Start and Early Head Start, and other Early Childhood Providers, Parents/Family Member, Administrators, and Service Coordinators.

Description: 
Following the training Participants will be able to:
  -Utilize resources for identifying early “Red Flags” for young children and Autism
 - Identify Best Practices for early intervention including Naturalistic
 - Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI)
 - Describe the importance of  curriculum components and strategies for teaching very young children with Autism.
These include:
1. Teaching “must have” skills for Instructional Cooperation
2. Joint attention and Reciprocal Imitation Training
4. Communication Skills including Functional Communication and Toleration Skills 
5. Play and social skills for young children
