Who Should Attend:
ESCE Teachers, EC Teachers/Head Start Teachers,  Speech Language Pathologists,  Elementary Special Education Teachers who have students with social needs (especially 5-8 year olds), Counselors, EC Administrators, Private Related Services Provider and more.   

Description: 
Do you know how Preschool Life Skills (PLS) aligns with the Teaching Strategies GOLD? Learn how to use (PLS) Curriculum  to support your student’s growth in GOLD’S Objectives for Development and Learning in the areas of; Social Emotional, Language, Cognition, and English Language Acquisition skills. Do you have students who need support in communication, accepting ‘no’ and ‘wait’, following directions, or social skills? Are you curious to learn more about Preschool Life Skills? During this 2-hour session, we will quickly review the 15 skills in the program and demonstrate how to easily incorporate these skills into daily routines for preschool and elementary students. PLS helps to create a better learning environment with cooperative learners.

-Activities during this session will include: 
-Review aligned GOLD Objectives and PLS 
-Review the PLS initial assessment (complete for at least one of your students)
-Review of the data sheets included in the program
-Brainstorm activities to embed initial lessons into routines (start filling out lesson plan for Skill #1)
-Review of resources available to support your program this school year
