DescriptionStrategies for Students with Autism in the General Education Classroom: Supports for Students with Autism who are  Participating in Grade Level Curriculum

  • Special Education & Paraeducators, General Education Teachers & Early Childhood Teachers who work with students with Autism who participate in grade level curriculum in the general education classroom.

This workshop will cover the following topics:

  • A deeper dive into the unique characteristics of our bright and verbal Students with Autism
  • Information on how to support your students with predicting activities throughout their day and how to prepare them for changes in the classroom and through-out the school community
  • A description of a variety of visual supports to support positive behavior that can be utilized in the general education classroom
